Pallet Racking can be purchased either New or Used, the benefit of both is more palletised storage within the warehouse area.

What is Pallet Racking?

Pallet racking is essentially a semi permanent storage solution to maximise your storage space. Made from steel, pallet racking is an industrial storage equipment solution comprising of Uprights or Frames, coupled with Beams and affixed to floor using suitable anchor bolts. All standard pallet racking systems are easily adjustable, allowing the user to change or increase storage levels in the future. Depending on the height and scale of the building, pallet racking frames can go up to 18m in the air! Typically, 3m-10m high frames are common.

Design of Pallet Racking

Pallet racking is normally configured to the clients needs, adjustable to suit the size and depth of pallet. Weight Beams and frames are designed to take a Uniformly Distributed Load (UDL), and normally calculated between 2-3 pallets of equal weight. Common pallet racking beams are 2700mm x 2000kgs UDL.
